Numbers

Life is full of numbers - especially when you're married to a math major! And when you're in the midst of a countdown, there are even more numbers involved on an every day basis.

6 days until packers get here

8 days until the movers get here

11 days until we leave TX - can't come soon enough!

14 days until we arrive in CA

15 days until we close on our house

18 days until we get our house hold goods delivered to our new house!

{and somewhere in there is the Baby#2 ultrasound!!!!!}

And speaking of numbers, Eden has a new love of counting too! It took us forever to get her to count even though she seemed to grasp the idea of "two" of something. She would hold up 2 of something and say "two!" Our response would be, "Yes! One, two." We did everything we could to get her to count, but she had no interest. Until this week...

She's counting! Most of the time she's counting backwards, but she's saying her numbers now. Most of the time her counting goes as follows: 2, 1, 2, 1. Our response is still the same, "Yes! One, two" in hopes to drop the first 2 before she counts 1, 2. The other day we were going to the Naval Clinic on base to get some signatures on Lane's sign out sheet for his command and she counted something for us, and did it perfectly...backwards. This time she counted 3, 2, 1. That one I was proud of!
