Balboa Park

When Jenn was here last week we talked about what she wanted to do and what we'd be able to see in San Diego while she was here. Her only request was to "explore" San Diego. She told us that if we weren't able to accomplish this with the kids that she'd take the car and just drive. Though part of me thought that might be the best possibility, I didn't want her to explore alone, and I didn't want to miss out on it either. What we finally decided on was to drive around when we were on the way to the airport. Her flight wasn't until 10:30pm so we had plenty of time. We started at Crazee Burger {which looked a little sketch on the outside, but was the best burger I've ever had} and then ended up at Balboa Park before finding a Starbucks and a brewery for appetizers before dropping her off at the airport. The day consisted of lots of lounging in the grass and watching Eden play followed by lots of tired tears from Eden.
